A Laser research study conducted with the Macquarie Center for Cognitive Sciences of New South Wales, Australia found that laser stimulation on four acupuncture points used in Traditional Chinese Medicine stimulated the frontal-limbic-striatal brain regions, with the pattern of brain activity varying with each different point.
